Book 6 Chapter 24
The Failure of the Rock Dragons
"Failed."
"Damage?"
"That's…annihilation."
"Yeah!"
Qi Sahan's tone was calm; he had already planned for their annihilation. While the Amorphous Immortal Lord may have seen them as mere children, Qi Sahan was wrong. He had pushed them to the limit because he thought they would have an advantage in the waterways. It would also serve as a warning to him. As planned, this would have weakened a significant portion of his forces.
The next issue was the target's damage situation.
"What is the damage to the target?"
"I…don't have any. "
The complexion of his subordinate, Tian Lihori Gongsheng, had grown paler and paler since he had posted the report of the annihilation of his Dark Dragon Squadron.
Qi Sahan's brow furrowed slightly.
"Do you think it's any wonder that we've got a whole fleet of rock dragons, the most powerful waterborne force in the world, and we haven't been able to deal any damage?"
"I'm so…sorry."
Gong Gook's face was contorted with horror; he knew all too well how cruel his superiors could be, especially when it came to punishment for failure.
"Wow, that's more than I thought, does that mean I miscalculated too?"
The failure of the Dark Dragon Army was expected, but the lack of damage to the objective was surprising.
Suddenly, Qi Sahan's face flashed in and out of his mind.
One of his secretly cultivated secrets had been completely destroyed. His mood must have been exhilarating. What would his expression be when he heard this report? I couldn't help but be intrigued.
I had to appease him. It would be nice to send a little memorial salt to the dog that was killed. It wouldn't wear out, so it was worth it. It would also serve as a mockery of the brain tumor name, so I killed two birds with one stone.
"I'll have to find another dog!"
That was the final conclusion he reached. First, he had to meet with the brain tumor.
"I can't believe I underestimated their capabilities……. I can't believe they were defeated in the water. I must have misjudged their capabilities. Who would have guessed that they could not do any damage to their targets and would be dismembered in such an ugly manner?"
The strangely condescending tone of the military chaplain's voice caught in his ears, and his eyebrows twitched. It was almost as if he was mocking himself with intent.
"It's a shitty plan that was executed according to a shitty plan in the first place, and the results can't possibly be right. It's not a good look to blame others for your own sins."
After all, the old ginger was spicy, and Mu Wong brain tumor wasn't aging for nothing. The words that came weren't nice, but the words that went weren't nice either. Originally, it was normal for a black man to give back as much as he received.
Military Qi Sahan's thin eyebrows twitched in an almost invisible way. If he lost the argument at this rate, he would not be Qi Sahan the Evil Brain.
His tongue grew sharper and sharper.
"I had only formulated this plan because I believed that the Dark Dragons raised by the Elder were capable enough to carry it out. Who would have thought that they would be so poor as to fail to live up to my expectations? I have been betrayed in my faith!"
"Boom!"
The epileptic slammed the table roughly. He was not naturally a patient man, and his face was flushed with fever.
"Damn, I shouldn't have gone along with this little rat's plan in the first place!
It was too late for regret; his alter ego had already been reduced by a quarter. Fury flickered in his torch-like eyes.
"So what you're saying is that our kids aren't good enough to pull off your crappy plan?"
"I'm glad you're so quick to comprehend, it's hard to believe that one of the top powers of the Heavenly Palace, the Amorphous Beast Squadron, would be defeated by such a brat……, tsk tsk!"
At the mention of children, Brainzong Ming glared at Qi Shihan with a sharp gaze. He resented the fact that he couldn't crack that rat's stinking skull right now.
It was a waste of time to argue further. There was no way to back out now that we were already in the mud.
"If you still see them as children, then your next operation will surely fail, and I look forward to your miserable failure with pleasure. But I want you to know one thing!"
A fiery light flashed in the brainiac's eyes, and for a moment, Qi Shihan instinctively flinched. His eyes were by no means those of an old man over a hundred and twenty years old.
"If our children die in vain because of your poor planning again, I will not stand idly by. You will be held accountable!"
It was a word that left no room for compromise. Reluctantly, Qi Sahan replied.
"Sure!"
The brain surgeon walked away, as if he wasn't worth talking to anymore. All that remained was the grim smile on his lips.
"You… old bastard……."
A gleam flashed in Qi Sahan's eyes.
"Watch, the day is not far off when I will shout so loudly. I'll make you beat the ground and wail and shed tears of blood. Hmphhh……!"
Dense flesh oozed from his body.
